About Me
- Name: Bob Jorth
- Location: Kalamazoo, Michigan, United States
I am a man with a big heart, that was wonderfully repaired in March of 2004. The past year has been in many ways the year of my heart, physically, emotionally and spiritually. A friend told me shortly after my surgery that since there were really no indicators of heart disease risk prior to my surgery that the heart disease must represent the symbolic nature of my heart and therefore the last year has been for me a healing of all of its aspects. I have commited to taking better care of myself in all of those areas. It has been a year where I, like the "grinch", have seen my heart grow a thousand fold. I believe the most important things that have and are in the proces of continuing to change are the ability to embrace my heart feelings and act on them; to see the world more clearly thru my heart; and to love myself for these things. (Which are not readily accepted in our culture.) May this blog encourage and inspire you to do the same.
